William Samuel Horton (1865-1936)

William Samuel Horton, an American Impressionist painter, studied under the influences of Benjamin-Constant and Jean-Paul Laurens. A member of The New York Watercolor Club, Salmagundi Club, and American Federation of Arts, Horton also had great friendships with such famous Impressionist artists as Monet, Degas and Derain.
