Yvonne Jacquette (born 1934)

Yvonne Jacquette, an American painter, has won numerous awards for her works, and is highly respected for her distinctive aerial landscape vistas and low-altitude aerial views of cities and towns. Jacquette studied with Robert Hamilton, Robert Roche, Herman Cherry and John Frazier during her four years at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence

Jacquette’s Movie Marquee II (Afternoon) is an oil on canvas painting measuring 69 by 80 inches. The painting captures a westerly view from the Jefferson Theater, located at 214 East 14th Street.
